About the Role:

As a Software Engineer II – Full Stack in Google Cloud, you will help build next-generation software solutions that scale to billions of users and deliver enterprise-grade cloud applications. Your work will bridge front-end and back-end development, tackling complex challenges in distributed computing, AI integration, and cloud infrastructure. You’ll collaborate with teams across the globe to design, build, test, and deploy products that advance technology for developers and businesses worldwide.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, test, deploy, maintain, and enhance high-quality software solutions.
• Write efficient, maintainable, and scalable product or system development code.
• Participate in or lead design reviews to evaluate and select technologies for new solutions.
• Collaborate with peers to review and refine code following best practices including testing and performance optimization.
• Debug, triage, and resolve product or system issues across multiple environments such as backend services, networks, or user interfaces.
• Contribute to documentation, learning materials, or educational content for developer teams.
• Manage project priorities, timelines, and deliverables while ensuring product performance and scalability.

Key Technical Skills:

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 1 year of experience in software development using one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, JavaScript).
• 1 year of experience with data structures or algorithms.

Preferred:

• Master’s or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related technical field.
• 1 year of experience in full stack development across both backend (Java, Python, Go, or C++) and frontend (JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, CSS).
• Experience in building accessible technologies and maintaining large-scale distributed systems.
• Excellent understanding of system design principles and clean coding standards.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while collaborating with cross-functional global teams.
